A fine of NT$3 million for laundering the origin of goods | Premier Su Tseng-chang
There is a trade war going on outside, and the government has the responsibility to continue to #protect domestic products instead of opening the door to Chinese goods to wash their origins.
This week the House of Representatives will pass a bill to amend the Trade Act. Added #anti-washing-of-origin clause to prohibit the falsification of origin and production certificates. The maximum penalty will also be increased tenfold, with a fine of three million for #originwashing. It also clearly stipulates the #whistleblower clause, which provides rewards for internal reports.
The world is changing, but our determination to protect #TaiwanMade remains unchanged. I hope you can see it.
