Product Description: Measuring an impressive 2.5 meters wide and 2 meters high, this figure boasts a strong visual impact and is suitable for large-scale displays. Knowing that the design is rooted in the local characteristics and history of Gunkanjima, the figure was given a three-dimensional representation. The final design, after discussions involving 3D modeling and rendering, was ultimately hand-sculpted to achieve a superior handmade feel, capturing its complex form. The three-dimensional details include the structural elements of multiple buildings and various protrusions on the island's surface, cleverly representing the undulating waves and adding dynamism and artistry.
This giant plush display figure is not only an adorable mascot, but also presents the history and unique landscape of Nagasaki's Gunkanjima Island to the public in an approachable artistic form.
